A Ministry of the Whole Church for the Whole World
I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it for me! Matthew 25: 40
Episcopal Relief and Development is a compassionate response of the Episcopal Church to human suffering in the world.Hearing God's call to seek and serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being, Episcopal Relief and Development serves to bring together the generosity of Episcopalians and others with the needs of the world. Episcopal Relief and Development faithfully administers the funds that are received from the Church and raised from other sources. It provides relief in times of disaster and promotes sustainable development by identifying and addressing the root causes of suffering. Episcopal Relief and Development cherishes its partnership within the Anglican Communion, with ecumenical bodies and with others who share a common vision for justice and peace among all people.

We make sure families have enough food to eat on a daily basis and food supplies are available, affordable and accessible. Primary Health Care Our Primary Health Care Programs help children and families live healthier lives. We promote good health care and fight preventable diseases. We provide treatment and care for the sick who are often unable to access and afford quality health care services. Diocesan, Regional and Congregational Representatives A Message from the ERD Diocesan Coordinator: We are well on our way to making Episcopal Relief and Development a part of every congregation's outreach ministry in the Diocese of Florida. As you see however, we have to work on placing Congregational Representatives in every parish, mission and chapel in the Diocese of Florida. If you would have an interest in representing your congregation as an ERD Congregational Representative please speak to your Rector or Vicar. Contact me for the job description and other materials you will need to get started. If you want to contact your ERD Regional Coordinator please email me and I will give you the contact information.
