Diocese of FloridaThe Episcopal Diocese of Florida : Serving the Episcopal Congregations in Northern Florida

Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Episcopal Diocese of Florida's website.

The Episcopal Diocese of Florida was founded in 1838 as the entire state of Florida. Today, our diocese consists of 25 counties in Northern Florida. Our parishes and congregations stretch from the Apalachicola River in the western part of our diocese to the Atlantic Ocean, and from the Georgia border to the Palm Coast region.

I hope that you find that which you are searching for on this site; and if you visit one of our 77 congregations you will encounter the love of Christ and the fellowship of those who follow him.

Diocesan Center for Christian Living

I have a vision for the Cerveney Conference Center at Camp Weed, …that it becomes more and more an educational, spiritual center for our diocese.
Bishop Howard’s Convention Address, 2007

Seeking to fulfill this vision the Diocesan Center for Christian Living(DCCL) will offer programs designed to further and enrich the life of every parish and individual in the Diocese of Florida. Seeking Christian wholeness and balance, each program will embrace care for the body, mind and spirit.

be offered a mentor for a year using Big Brothers-Big Sisters USA
or Children's Home Society of Florida.
